Rosa Parks devoted her life to creating access and opportunities for everyone!

The Rosa & Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development (RRPISD) (www.rosaparks.org) would like to invite you to participate in the 5th Anniversary commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Rosa Parks (1913-2005), the “Mother of the Modern Civil Rights Movement.”

This event will introduce a new international program that will expand youth dialogue for global networking.

As a 501(c) (3), the Rosa & Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development have served over served over 6,000 youth within the Pathways to Freedom program by following freedom trails traveled in over 14 states in the USA, Bahamas (Nassau & Andros), and in Canada (Halifax, Nova Scotia and Toronto, Windsor, Puce, Syracuse, & Amherstburg, Ontario).

This exciting event in DETROIT at GREATER GRACE will celebrate the continuation and the expansion of the legacy she founded to continue her work.

The Institute motivates youth, ages 11-17 through her philosophy of “Quiet Strength,” and programs such as “Pathways to Freedom,” that provide training in life skills, historical and educational research.


Top celebrities and local artists will be featured.
